A gorgeous wine! Our favorite of the Bordeaux so far.

I found this description from Wine & Co… not sure about the grilled coconut and Russian leather – then again, little do I know about wine lingo…

«The attractive building that the traveller sees across the road from Château Beychevelle, produces a wine which is as aesthetically pleasing as its architecture: simply superb. In the controversial 1997 vintage, the result was equally superb. Beautifully coloured, with smoky notes of grilled coconut on the nose combined with toasty aromas and Russian leather. Smooth on the palate, this is a finely crafted wine.»
